Air Optix Photography

The thought of wearing glasses at one time of the day brought images such as Deirdre Barlow from Coronation Street to mind, or in worse circumstances than that, the old thick rimmed NHS glasses which used to be provided to children who had trouble with their sight. Things have progressed dramatically since these days, and for the better. When contact lenses first hit the high street shops, they were fiddly things which were often uncomfortable, but with time the quality of contact lenses has improved dramatically, and there is a new contact lens out on the market at the moment, which is for daily wear and can occasionally be worn overnight (however this has to be overseen and approved by an eye practitioner) and can be worn for about 6 nights.
These contact lenses are called Air Optix and not only come in the clear kind of lens, but can also be purchased as coloured lenses (farbige Kontaktlinsen). These lenses are specifically designed to oxygenate your eyes five times more than a traditional lens and this is due to technology which is known as Silicone Hydrogel. This means that there is less chance of irritation, redness and discomfort at the end of the day, as these are all symptoms to suggest that your eyes are suffering from lack of oxygen.
Contact lenses also mean that you can see more in life, without having to worry about walking in from the cold and your glasses steaming up, or it raining against your glasses, which means that they will inevitably smear at the end of the day. Contact lenses also give you the freedom of being able to wear them during a holiday, in order that you can see and do more things. Sight seeing and the use of cameras for photography purposes can also be a problem when wearing glasses.
There are many tourist destinations around the world which are well worth visiting, often they are places which you may have seen on the television and not got chance to see or do. New York has a vast amount on offer to see and do. The Brooklyn Bridge has been in many films which are based around New York, it is featured in sitcom Friends, Taxi and Coyote Ugly to name but a few. This bridge boasted a 486 meter span and was once named at the worlds longest bridge, that was until Scotland completed the Firth of Forth bridge back in 1890. The Brooklyn Bridge was opened in 1883 on May 24th, by the time it actually opened 27 men had lost their lives during the construction, and this included the designer of this great bridge John Roebling.
The Empire States building, the Statue of Liberty, the bright yellow taxis and the hustle and bustle of this famous city, makes for great photo opportunities. The opera house in Sydney is another great photo opportunity as is the Eiffel Tower in Paris. Back home in London there is much in the way of tourist attractions to see, with places like, St Paul’s Cathedral, Buckingham Palace (home of the queen), the London Eye – offering great views to either side of the River Thames including sites of Tower Bridge and the Houses of Parliament. Trafalgar Square is a good place to see the hustle and bustle of London, and pose next to the fabulous statues of Lions. An evening dining out in Soho is also a firm favourite with tourists, or you could catch a glimpse of one of the many celebrities in the Ivy.
